You need the defensive items when : 1) youre hard focused and your team cant defend you enough. 2) you need mr/armor because the enemies are doing much magical or physical dmg. 3) you need to play safe! going full dmg with yasuo means that youre controlling the game and you do not have problems to escape/engage.

Why E first?

Why to skill the E first? You skill your E first if youre playing vs Champions with many Skillshots f.e Brand/Lux/Syndra (Hardcounter) Use your E to lasthit! If youre a good yasuo player, you can go for Firstblood already at lvl 1 ! --> Stack your E twice to reach the highest magical dmg your E can do. Than slide into your enemy, hit him once or twice and slide back. Do this 1 or 2 times and you can get Firstblood before you reach lvl 2. But be aware!!!! By sliding into your enemy, you will get attacked by all minions & the enemy mid champion! You have to be very fast & its very important that you dont slide through all minions before you slide into the enemy champion! You need 1-3 minions who are not marked by your E to get back out of the danger Zone!
