Explanation of items.

The Doran's Ring for the increased damage on your Q and mana restoration with the health increase. Mana pots instead of Health Pots obviously. You will get healed from your Q. Sircerer's Shoes, for magic pen. You will not need CD reduction, since it's every in the build really. Nashor's Tooth is the perfect item for Warwick, it goes so well with his passive and attack speed increase on his W. Spirit Visage for increased heal on your Q, along with the MR, Health Regen and Health increase and the CD reduction, makes the perfect item for an AP Warwick. The Crystal Scepter, for increased durability and slow effect on your Q, to make any opponent fear you. Rabadon's Deathcap really speaks for itself. The Deathfire Grasp is a real great item, with high amount of AP bonus along with the activation effect, will really help you take down tanks, that would otherwise prove as a problem for the AP Warwick player.

Skill Order + Pros and Cons of the AP Warwick

Maxing the Q first shouldn't be a shock. It is your main damage output. Maxing the W second is great for the passive combined with the Nashor's Tooth. Pros: Good on a heavy AD team. Does a lot of damage to carries. Great poke. No mana issues mid-late game. Strong sustain. Able to stay in fights; not completely dependant on abilities. High mobility With this build you end up with about 3k HP, so fairly sustainable. Cons: Easily kited. Stunned or silenced while being targeted often means death. Item dependant Bad on AP heavy teams. Easily outlaned when fighting an ranged opponent (However once Warwick hits level 6, he can close the gap quickly and be a lane beast)

Summoner Spells.

Well, they talk for them self, really. Teleport for lane ganks and push, and ignite for the heal reduc. + the DoT. Flash is the perfect summoner spell if you ask me. Great gap closer, great escape method, and a warwick who flash ult.. Damn, i love to do that.

Runes

I'll usally go for the runes i go with for an normal AP carry, however you can also alternate them, and go for a more Singed like rune set, which i also do alot, when playing top. Here is the list of my alternate runeset for more tanky and lane presence: Marks: 9x Magic Pen Seals: 9x Flat armor Glyphs: 9x Flat AP Quints: 2x Flat Ap 1x Inc. Movement speed.

Masteries.

Again, same story as the rune page. Here i show the high dmg. AP mastery page. However it can be wise to use a more defense minded mastery page, so you can with stand the poke you will get in lane.
