Situational

You can always pick up merc treads over sorc shoes. Last item always depends on the enemy: if they got a lot of ap then get Abyssal, if you think you got enough def you can go Lich Bane, Warmogs is also viable as last item.

IF the enemy bought merc treads, skill Event Horizon over Dark Matter! Remember, jungler and top lane might have skilled defense masteries, which might lead to 15% Tenacity! That means you might not hit with dark matter if, lets say Lee Sin, shields away.

I prefer Teleport over Ignite. Its hard to escape tp + homeguard boots. Also Teleport is quite usefull in lategame, while Ignite loses its efficiency.

I do prefer flat runes because Veigar early is weak, not his late. I also got 3 runepages for him My Marks and Quintessences remayns the same but my Glyphs and Seals might change: 1. Blue - AP/lvl, Yellow - Flat Armor (against ad mid) 2. Blue - Flat Mr, Yellow - Flat Manaregen. 3. Blue - Flat Mr, Flat Armor. (rarely used)

If you take Ignite over Teleport you obv. want to skill the Ignite Masterie over Spellsword.

    IMO this skill order isn't very good. It is because at stun lvl1 you will not be able to land dark matter on enemy's head. I prefer and recommend to other Veigar players to pick stun at level 2, and then max Q and E simultaneously. at lvl 5 pick dark matt

    @juraj1: Moreover, Warmog is completely useless, you're not a tank, you're glass cannon with extreme burst. You have to RQ their adc in lategame, so building warmog is useless. I'd rather build Rylai's for some HP and burst. Void staff isn't a nessesity t

      @juraj1: Rylais on veigar is bad because : not enough hp, you dont need slow, useless ap at this point
