wtf no crits/wtf no full AD/ wtf aatrox tank?

As a toplaner, Aatrox is supposed to be at least beefy, if not tanky. 3 AD items provide enough damage for him and his team, while 3 tanky items make him a perfect frontline, thanks to his rapid health regeneration provided by his W's 3rd attack. Also, resistances, namely armor and MR make this passive skill worth more: it's harder to take out someone who regenarates a few hundred HPs(~100-200) every few attacks AND has lots of resistances.

Start with E for free att speed (use it a few times so your passive fills up, dont worry about your health) Also, maxing E over W grants you more immidiate effects e.g. higher damage output, mixed damage (E deals magic and your basic attacks physical[durr])and damage per skill point spent. Max w second because of stronger heals/higher damage.

Flash is essential: flash>Q for distant/well positioned carries, getting out when caught splitpushing or whatever, jumping over walls etc. take ignite if you feel confident that you can kill your opposing toplaner multiple times and snowball game, or just for 1v1s. Tp for splitpushing.

go for standard 21/9/0 with att speed and AD. DONT GO FOR FRENZY. instead, insert a point in spell weaving (or blade weaving- the one that enhaces your abities damage based on how much basic atts you landed on a champion- your w is considered an ability)
